WHY I STARTED THIS...

Frustrated with having to come up with food options for your family? Me too!

So how often do you pin a recipe? (Gosh, how much do I hate that Pinterest thing?!)

 

Do you own a dozen cookbooks, have every intention of pulling them out and creating masterpiece dinners but never actually have the time or energy to do it?

 

Why do cookbooks have such disgustingly time consuming instructions or recipes that no kid (or picky adult like me) would ever eat?

 

I own over 30 cookbooks. In my pantry, in a cabinet, organized by types of food AND collecting dust bunnies. :)

 

Can you relate?

 

I can’t tell you how many conversations I have with friends and family with the same problem.  I hear it all the time. Ugh! The struggle is real you guys!

 

And let’s be honest - kids (and husbands) are no help. (Now, husbands who are reading this - don’t get your panties in a bunch. You know it’s true!) It’s “What do you want for dinner?” and we get “I don’t know” or “I don’t care” or “I’ll eat anything”.

 

Yeah right! Argh! Makes me want to go on a cooking strike, I tell ya. Fend for yourselves. ;)

 

But we know that’s not realistic. You are the Mama, the dependable cook, blah, blah… It’s a struggle to say the least.

 

Trying to organize meal plans, do the shopping, work your own job, take care of the kids - the list goes on. Who has time for it all.

 

Well, even as I am writing this to you - I freely admit I still fight the urge for throwing my hands up and saying “take out again! ”

 

Great intentions do not always put dinner on the table. Something happens - kids get sick, work makes you stay late, unexpected company or get this (and yes it happens to all of us) you flatout are TOO EXHAUSTED!

 

I really want to help you.  And I admit, help myself at the same time. :) I started doing this awhile back and it has helped tremendously.  I tried it out with a few friends and I want to share it with you too.

 

Now - full disclosure: I am NOT a professional cook or dietician (so don’t expect all those crazy calculations and fat/calorie content information.  :) I make no guarantees on any dietary plans, etc.  We have a toddler we try hard for a good balance - that’s where we are.  

 

I want to help you by making your meal plan easier for each week.  I hope it helps - because who doesn’t want to lighten their load?

This program will be designed to last for 4 weeks.  If you like it - buy 4 more weeks, etc. :)

 

Each week costs $5 = total for 4 weeks $20.


Each week you get 3 dinner recipes and 1 dessert recipe!  Plus, an easy printable shopping list.

  • Why only 3 meals a week?

Well, again full disclosure and honesty - I don’t want to cook 7 dinners a week and I bet you don’t either.  Call me a bad cook if you want. But, in my own personal weekly plan - I schedule leftover nights + 2 take out nights with possible fend for yourself nights. Some nights it’s chicken nuggets and fries from the freezer. Okay - honestly - we’ve all done that and been there!

 

  • Where do the recipes come from?

I will never claim these recipes directly as my own.  I take recipes from all kinds of sources. Cookbooks, facebook, family recipes etc.  I change them to suit my own personal taste and voila!

 

  • How do I sign up?

​

Just complete the form at the bottom of the page and indicate your interest in the program.  You will receive an email with the instructions on how to pay (paypal will be the method of payment).  Once I receive your payment your first week of recipes will arrive! It’s a easy as that!

 

  • How do I get my recipes?

​

Once I receive payment you will receive the recipes in an email.  The printable shopping list will be via pdf format.
