Hello! Welcome to my blog and my life.

Crazy as it may be, this is my life. :) I am a daughter, wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend.

As you read more about me through my blog I hope you get to know me well.  

 

I have had many ups and downs and feel that when you go through those times in your life - the good, the bad, the ugly - they are what shape you. 

​

I grew up in a loving family.  I am the middle child.  (Yes, I know what they say about middle child syndrome!) I have an older sister and a younger brother. Both are married and have children whom I adore! My parents live near me and I spend a lot of time with them.

​

I always wanted to have a great job, get married and have a family. As with most goals you have trial and errors, ups and downs trying to figure out how to achieve them. I am no different.

 

Mistakes - yes

Poor Decisions - yes

Learned from them - yes

So I'd say that's a good way to put life in a nutshell. :)

​

I have been married for 16 years. (My first marriage ended in divorce. Well, let's say that is a whole other story to be shared at a later date.) Darrell and I both knew we wanted a family and after many years of infertility battles we decided to adopt. 

​

After years of waiting - it finally happened! We have our precious miracle - Adam. He is 2 now and a beautiful, rambunctious and loving little boy whom we adore! 

​

This blog will be about food, life, moments and memories. The good, the fantastic, the heartbreaking and the hilarious.
